The River was born as an abstract landscape from my memories of SW Colorado. What evolved, however, was a deeply personal recognition of the power of home, faith in The Calling, and trust in Her, the flow of Creation that leads to the depths of the heart. Layers of texture created their own flow and every time I argued about what I was being asked to do, "Trust" was the response.

Ultimately, this became expression other answer to my prayer, "Please just get me home."

The River is one of two pieces that lower the temperature of room and immediately calms those who see it. When She appears in dreams, they feel the flow touch and disease or discomfort vanishes-permanently
