Utah

Utah is 36 x 48". Inspired by the movement of storm clouds rolling across Wilson Mesa and memories of the desert SW, it is  a multilayered, moody expression of desert sky. Gold reflects light as it changes in a room, warming it, pinkening it and offering it's own internal glow. This piece brings with it a sense of peaceful expansiveness, both in the visual field and the how the energies impact the space around it. The textured surface and hidden reflective golds, pinks and blues let small shifts in light and form appear as you move closer.
