Narjis is quiet devotion. Known as the mother of the 12th Imam, she is an active spiritual presence in my world (as is her son) and this painting is the 'sister' to the one from which Maryam appeared in August 2022.

 

This piece been described as 'the color, energy, magnitude and movement of God'. Like a few other pieces, this is an expression of intercession, in answer to prayer as well as a center-point for prayer. The depth of light reflecting and refracting through the layers of green invoke the earnestness of honest prayer and the gentleness of grace.
