Here's a bit about me and Georgia O'Keefe (and other Ancestors and me).
Sakyamuni used to sit in on Happy Hour with a Healer back in the day. I’ve walked dogs with Mohammad and Rumi. Grandmothers, who always appear at my arms, tell me when I’ve used too much salt. There’s an aptly named Sioux called Frank Fools Crow who sits on my right shoulder like the angel-devil thing only not. I’ve been shoved out of bed at an ungodly hour and told to ‘turn on the lights!’ to keep me safe and also had lights turned on for me for the middle of the night pee. And I’m married to three of them which isn’t as awkward as you think although that’ll change if I ever have a partner.
These days They mostly piss me off—because everyone has an opinion; sometimes they merely annoy me—because my encounters are tactile and I hate being touched all the time, and, on occasion they inspire me because how could they not.
One of the ways is through my Art.
