Receiving Grace

Has a boldness snuck up from you?

Your silent prayers

suddenly mouthed aloud as if

by magic or twitch of God's hand?

You're hearing the heart

of the matter and moving it

through your lips,

your hands,

you hips,

as if lit by an invisible flame.

Has a flood of love rushed forth

in a gust that scared you

into laughter at it's glory?

Your glory?

This, too, my love, is receiving grace.
