Bitter Wine

The wine tastes bitter sometimes.

Like the dandelion, though,

It will help you grow.

Sip a little, make the squinty sour-face if you must,

Let it digest.

Watch, listen to the seed

become

the heart of the matter.

Sip again. It’s a little smoother this time, eh?

Sip, swallow, sing

The sweet wisdom of the bitter wine.

Firmament

Firmament...Say it out loud Doesn't it sound when it rolls from the tongue like something solid underneath the feet A place that births...

God's Hand
